Champions in Ronse 2011

In our centenary year we took a team of swimmers to Ronse and came home in 1st place
There were 12 team competing from across europe, from Belgium, France, Germany and the UK
Swimmers as young as 8 swam in a multitude of events representing their age groups
In the end we managed a massive haul of medals winning 27 Golds, 20 Silver and 21 Bronze medals
There were 23 personal bests and 3 new club records
The highlights were -
Faye swimming in her 1st gala for the club winning the 50m F/S and also getting 2 silver medals
Marie winning the girls junior skins, Niccolo winning the boys junior skins and Ciara winning the girls senior skins
And Ciara coming from behind in both the girls 4x50m Medley and 4x100m F/S relays to win both events
